Landscapes can be a tricky subject to photograph. So much depends on the lighting and focus that the same scene can have a very different emotional feel depending on how it is photographed. The best times to photograph Landscapes are early in the morning and at the end of the day. That is when you will get the golden hour light, or the blue hour of light. Once the sun is at extreme eagles to the subject the shadow patterns provide the texture and 3D feel to the image. Since I am not a morning person, most of my landscapes are taken at the end of the day assuming I have the ability to wait around.
